Our hot-water heater broke--three months ago.
Let me tell you--no hot water is a great way to get you on board with not wasting water.
I was toughing it out up until this month.
It finally got pretty cold, so I've been taking my showers at my mom's house (luckily she's right up the road and poppy loves playing over there)
Last time I showered there I forgot my jeans, I had worn this flannel over there and it served as a temporary fix while I blowed dry my hair.
But then I liked it--so it stayed.
Marcus thought I was pretty cool when I got home.
My mom did not--she took me out to lunch for my birthday and couldn't believe I was wearing a shirt for a skirt. She should most certainly be used to my style shenanigans by now, she knew me in high school.

What's the weirdest thing you've ever worn in public?

p.s. marcus is fixing the hot water heater this week! yippee!

You are so cute. I definitely wouldn't be able to pull this off. Also, my mom always dares me to wear weird things out of the house, and I always do it for her. Haha. One time in high school we went to target on Halloween and I wore the leggings that I used to wear for Halloween when I was 6. My mom dared me to do it haha. They were all sorts of crazy patterns (this was like 6 years before patterned leggings were a thing) plus they were capris. Haha, I'm sure I wore weirder things, but this is just one that I can remember.

I'm not so daring mysefl! I once wore a panda hat that a friend made for me but kids made fun of me in my street so it was the last time, haha.

That stinks about your hot water heater. Pretty impressive you've lasted so long. We went a few months with a broken oven but it got fixed a couple weeks ago. Yay! Even though I'm off sugar I keep baking cookies. Just because I can. I can totally hear your mom giving you a hard time about the shirt. Looks great!

Haha, I love your creativity in a bind! And unfortunately I know how it is to not have a shower working at your own house and having to go somewhere else. Thankfully those times are far behind me!
