{My} Beach Curl

12.20.2010

I used this same method of curling here, here, here, here, here, and here. As you can see, it looks a little different every time. It's the nature of the game, my friends, embrace it.

Oh man, if you already know how to do the beach curl, please don't watch this.
I'm so awkward and it's far from entertaining...perhaps even from educational, but I tried to be informative and I hope you can make sense of my unintelligible patter.
I loved seeing {Your} Top-Knots and hope to see more in the future.
I ask the same for the beach curl, if you try it and like it, send me a picture!

I love the beach curl! This is how I wear my hair too. I use the enzo milano wand to curl my hair and it works wonders!! Your hair always looks fantastic!

kelsey, that wand looks awesome, i've never heard of it before.
julie, glad you could find any entertainment in that silly video :)
Josh, fantastic. it be hard to get a unicorn to hold still that long and never would we cut a unicorns horn off, so although it might look lovely, it's highly unlikely...thanks brother in law.

I love this look! My sister and I each have a curling iron in different sizes so we can share and make it look a little more natural like you said. As well we have curling irons without the clamp so it’s specifically made for this kind of curl!

I was at the beach when I read this post, so I thought I just had to try it! It must of been the humidity and the heaviness of my hair, because it didn't turn out :(
But I'm going to try it again sometime!

Just found your blog by chance...am trying to come up with more ways to wear my {growingout} hair. Just curious...I only have one size of curling iron, but I'm still going to give this a go. In case it doesn't quite work, do you have the link to the blog of that person you mentioned on the video who has a tut for doing this with a straightener? Thanks!!!

I used your tutorial this weekend when I was in Vegas, BEST thing ever. I've never been able to curl my hair, let alone get the beach waves that I've been dying to have, and your tutorial worked, and I LOVED it.
