{For Fashion's Sake} Saturday: Patience, Coupons, and Pockets

9.10.2011

instagramed this top a while back while window shopping at Old Navy. I couldn't stop thinking about it all summer. Have I told you already how impressed I've been with Old Navy lately? Anyway, I went back earlier this week and it was 30% off, so yes, I found that to be destiny, plus I think it fits my new J.Crew-esque dress code for work. The thing about Old Navy is that their stuff always goes on sale or there is almost always an online coupon, so the moral is, never pay full price at Old Navy. Also, always buy skirts with pockets. And never speak in absolutes...
Sorry this post is lame. I'm at the ranch with my besties, and blogging just doesn't take priority today.
The end.
The Breakdown:
Mint Gingham Top: Old Navy
Pink Chandelier Earrings: Forever21
Wrap Skirt: Vintage
Yellow Flats: Gap

I agree that you never pay full price at Old Navy and you always buy skirts with pockets. I'm thinking of taking the time to add pockets to my skirts that don't have them! Your outfit is adorable!

You look so beautiful! This pastel color palette is heavenly, and your hair is looking great!

One of my favorite things about Old Navy is sometimes their pieces are secretly marked down, so sometimes you think you're paying one very reasonable price like $20, and when you get to the register, it turns out you're paying $4 for a pair of jeggings! Haha.

I'm not sure if I've said it yet, but I'm so excited for you and your new fabulous job! Congratulations! :)

I just bought this shirt too!!! It was already on sale for 16 and then I had the coupon on top of it! Best. Now, I've got my eye on a striped sweater dress that is surprisingly expensive for Old Navy (in my opinion). But I'm pretty sure if I'm patient, it will end up at something my pocket book can swallow. :) Love the way you styled the shirt!
