This Ain't No Déjà Vu...

1.26.2011

Well aren’t you all just the luckiest!
I have another giveaway, this time it's a $25 gift certificate that can be used at over 200 stores in the United States and Canada.
Perhaps you need some modern dining room furniture, funky wallpaper, or some charming new dishes!
I’ve spent a good portion of the last few days checking out the stores and my, oh my, I’m jealous of whoever WINS!
As soon as I have a home to decorate I think I shall fill it with anything Paul Thomas and cover all the walls in this!
Here’s how to enter:
1. Become a follower (or tell me if you already are).
2. Tweet/FB/blog about the giveaway (I need a link so I can see it).
3. Describe your dream house (location, size, style, etc.)

The first is required, the last two are extra entries.

**The winner will be announced Wednesday, February 2nd.

Viel Glück!

I am a follower of your blog and love it. My dream house would include a gigantic kitchen, for sure. Then my husband might cook for me more often ;)

I just followed your blog on Google Connect--excitement! My dream home would be some crazy mix of modern colors and vintage flair, somewhat inspired by this vintage Halloween party I found on StyleMePretty. It's also apropos because Halloween is just the best holiday ever!

...And my dream house would be somewhere in the country, with lots of open space and white, clean walls. I'd like to have one cozy room, with lots of bookshelves and couches and pillows, and a giant bed with white sheets and a gray duvet and lots of pillows.

Oh my. I absolutely love that cake stand! Well I am a follower and I did blog about it. http://jacknjenny.blogspot.com/2011/01/nails-nails_26.html

And as for my dream house, I could write a 5 page paper describing it. But to keep it short. I would love a Mid-century inside and out house some where in the suburbs of Austin, TX. With big windows and skylights where ever possible. Not too big but big enough to have little kids running around. Also with an awesome tree in the backyard so we can build a tree house.
Dream dream dream.

I have thought a lot about my dream house, but unfortunately I'm too indecisive to know what it would look like exactly! I have always loved the look of beach houses, and living in Canada it doesn't feel like an appropriate design choice. So in my dreams I would like a beach house, in whites, blues, pale greens, in Maui! My most favorite place. It would have a pool and a hot tub, and have giant doors with white whispy curtains in the front that opened onto the beach.

my dream house..... I've never really thought of this, I'm used to living in normal/big houses, with no neighbours stuck to my walls... so I guess I wouldn't be able to live in an apartment for logn... though I've tried and I guess it depends... I'd rather have a normal size house, but with a small garden, something gree to sit whenever there's a ray of sun!

Hi Ashley! I am already a follower of your blog because I seriously love it!

My dream home...the house itself would be an oldie, hopefully from the 20s and located on the East Coast around Washington D.C. The decor would be what I call masculine/comfy/feminine, which requires lots of comfy leather couches with tons of blankets, very warm filled with vintage furniture like apothecary tables dating back to the 1800s. There would be a huge kitchen with a huge window so light could come in and the kitchen would include a fire brick oven, for pizzas. Besides every other normal room in houses, I want a reading room with shelves and shelves of books, many lamps and coffee tables to put down my hot cocoa while I read seated at a lovesac, or couch. The other room would be a home theater, again filled with plenty of pillows, blankets, couches and love sacs plus a huge screen to watch movies in. AAhhhh if only it could come true...

Dream house, hmmm... Versailles? Just kidding, too many tourists :) In my party/glamorous life I would love to have a plantation home with a grand entryway and very roman interiors, but in my completely down to earth life, I love the house in Ramona and Beezus(if you haven't seen it, please do). It's childhood friendly.
