love it. good call with the slip. I had to get rid on 90% of my wardrobe when I got married. I wish your blog was around then... haha

What are you doing for a career? It should most definitely be something along the lines of fashion! You are talented my dear! How do you have the patience to get so cute every day!?

I love this look! The dress is totally perfect! And the slip adds a great touch, as do the tights and belt!

Love the slip extender. I so need to acquire some. That would definitely extend the selection of dresses I could choose from.

I love the slip extender idea! That is really the perfect fit for some of my dresses, that are too short even with tights. How lovely. I really liked your outfit this week, by the way.

my daughter made me wear mismatched earrings the other day and i looked completely crazy... but you look totally chic... i think i will try it again and this time stay away from the huge gold tassel/big pink hoop combo.. (yikes)

I have the same dress that I got from Target about 2 years ago! Thank you for the new way to style it and making me realize a black ruffle slip is a total necessity.

Auugh do you find your slips stay that way though?! Mine tend to drag and slide around, not look COMPLETELY darling and amazing like you do here!

thanks everyone.
always something: this slip is a full body slip, so it doesn't slide around, but i know what you're talking about! it's so annoying.

I DO dig the slip-extender! It just complements this outfit perfectly. I recently thrifted a longish, lacey slip and have been excited to wear it at every possible moment. =) Great earrings and shoes, as well. Simply wonderful.

Oh! And your braid! GAH! Yes, I'm crazy about this look. Enough said.

I so dig the slip extender since I thrifted this very dress a few months ago and have pretty much not worn it because I can't figure out what to do with it! HOORAY!
