It's Only Just Begun...

11.08.2010

This morning I woke up to the sound of my wardrobe crying.
I asked, "Wardrobe, why cryest thou?"
But, through her tears, she only pointed.
I looked out my window--to the place of the pointing.
And there it was: First Snowfall.
Then, through the flurry, I heard a faint flute and yes, yes it was the flakes. They began to sing.
Do you know what song they sung?
It was this...
and it was then I knew, it was going to be a long winter.

What Is Your Wardrobe
Crying About Today?

It must be crying because Karen Carpenter has the saddest, most beautiful voice EVER.

I think its crying about how it has to squish me tighter after 5 days on a vacay with my girlfriends. Poor pants.

May Karen Carpenter forever rest in peace. Her voice is like butter, or velvet, or dark chocolate. So soothing.

And my wardrobe is crying because it wants more new friends.

good gravy I love me some Carpenters!
My wardrobe is also crying about the icky wet snow. All the same, at least my new coat is thrilled. :)

Haha Jack and I received some hate mail through text messaging today from Rexburg. My dresser (I dont have a wardrobe) wasnt crying today. It was really happy when he heard Jack driving up the drive way for a surprise visit! :) But Jack and I will be back in Rexburg for the winter, so I will enjoy what the sunshine state has got to offer me while I can.

My wardrobe is so jealous of your wardrobe. All my sweaters and scarves and mittens and hats sit in mothballs, unlov-ed. Think of all the layering opportunities and cold weather accessorizing. The first day of summer in Arizona is so much more devastating. Live up the snow styling for me.

Should I cut bangs like hers? haha I feel your pain Ash. We should meet up somewhere between Provo and Rexburg so we can cry about the cold together!
