They didn't.
It felt amazing to put it back on and think about the day i married my best friend.
And honestly, I could never be one to regret a polka dot.
I love that I got my dress for $3.
I love that I bought it because I thought the fabric was pretty--never because I had any intentions of using it for my real wedding one day!
I love that my mom took it apart and rebuilt it just for me.
I love that she put buttons up the back.
And mostly I love that i felt beautiful on july 24, 2010--my wedding day, and that's really what matters, right?

What a lovely dress! =) I adora polka dots, and if I was to get married again I'd love to go the Swiss dot route. My own wedding dress, lovely as it is, is stored away in a box in my husbands closet - probably never to see the light of day again. Which kind of makes me sad. There's a big part of me that wants to take it out when I finish my weight loss journey (i.e. reach goal weight) and prance around in it - because it'll be too big! =)
At any rate, I love your dress and you look fabulous in it.
I always thought you had one of the most beautiful dresses because it was unique! However, I did the same thing with my wedding dress with pinterest boards, but when I went back and tried it on and looked at pictures I realized how perfect it was :)

I think it is a pretty dress and so great that you got it for so cheap. I don't want to spend a lot of money on my dress when I finally get married, but I doubt I can find such a lovely dress like yours!!
I wish I could fit into my wedding dress! Babies do that to a person! Your wedding looked so beautiful! I did think about turning my dress into some blessing clothes for the baby though!
I totally felt like I impulse bought my wedding dress. I thought I was getting married sooner than I was, and rarely looked around to find another dress. I think my dress is beautiful but sometimes I am just like was it the right one!? I should pull it out again like you!
