Yesterday I rediscovered a pair of jeans from high school. I put them on, I liked the wash and Marcus said my bum looked cute in them, so, naturally, I wanted to start wearing them again.
Unfortunately, they were an awkward length and a sort of weird flare/boot-cut that wasn't so flattering on my figure. But then this tutorial (please tell me you follower her blog? she's SO talented!) I had seen in days gone by came to mind, and BAM! I had myself a Saturday project.
I was foolish and didn't take a before picture, but here's the finished product:
Mine was a slightly modified version of this tutorial since I started the new seams at the knees, not all the way at the crotch, but I still found it helpful.
Happy Sunday Ya'll!

Good job!
I love saving clothes from highschool! Just the other day I revived a skirt by fixing the hem - cheapest new clothes ever!
Yessss I totally need to do this! I have at least two pairs of jeans I have in my closet because I like the way they fit, but they have a weird cut. I will have to try this. Thanks for the tip! Yours came out perfect!
Looks good. I just found that girl's blog via pinterest yesterday! I'm planning on making that grecian like dress of hers. She has so many good ideas.
