Bonlook Frames
Lately I've been hearing a lot about this online frame shop called BonLook and as soon as I saw their variety of frames, I was in love! I posted about them on Facebook and a friend told me about Warby Parker--also amazing (plus they work like TOMS shoes--buy a pair, they donate a pair).
Warby Parker Frames
Something you might not know about Marcus and I is that one of our favorite stops in the mall is the glasses stores. The problem is the selection of cool frames is sparse and the one's we do like are in the $200 range. Eek!

We both have and are grateful for our 20/20 vision, but we both have childhood memories of trying to trick our parents into getting us glasses. (Marcus actually succeeded, he lied his way through an entire eye-exam, got a pair of glasses then never wore them because they, of course, gave him headaches! haha)
Anyway, I'm guilty of wearing fake glasses, and now with this virtual try-on session, I may be saving my pennies to buy myself a pair from BonLook or Warby Parker frames.
Mostly I'm just glad to know that there are stylish and affordable ($95-$99) frames out there, in case I actually did need a pair someday.

Which are your favorite?
If you end up doing a virtual try on session, I'd love to see pics!

I love the virtual try on session. My favorite is #2 from the Bonlook frames. I've worn glasses since I was 11/12. The glasses I wear now I've had for 6 years and I still really like them but I want to get a second pair so I can accessorize my outfits with them. I want to get a pair very similar to the ones you posted. Blogged about it here: http://southafricameetsbelgium.blogspot.com/2011/08/these-are-few-of-my-favorite-things.html

I absolutely love Warby Parker frames. The pair I wanted they don't sell anymore unfortunately. The Harper's are awesome!
I really like the WP n°3 on you :)

Haha, I so used to try and trick my mum and the optician into giving me glasses. I failed miserably.

you are very lucky to have 20/20 vision because glasses and contacts are not only expensive but a pain. I can't even imagine what it would be like to open my eyes in the morning and see! haha Those are all really cute frames, and you look good in glasses! Oh and my sister-in-law did the same thing to her mom and eye doctor! crazy kids! :)

I also faked my way through several eye exams and got glasses out of it, haha! I was obsessed with wanting glasses and I was also obsessed with getting braces (but never got those, rats!).

I liked #3 on you! When I was a kid I got the biggest ugliest tortoise shell ones I could find so mom wouldn't make me wear them. Turns out she loved them. Kinda wish I has them now though!

Have you seen 39dollarglasses.com ?  Another on-line glasses retailer and they have some super fun and cute frames.  I've been drooling over a couple pairs.  And I DO need glasses/contacts.  I'm basically blind.
