Covergirl? Not quite.

6.16.2011

Well, I'm no covergirl, but thanks to a text from Lauren, I found out that my blog was featured in a local Arizona magazine called The 202
You can find my little 15-minutes of fame at the bottom of page 36 (double click to zoom) and if you could just read it really slowly and maybe a few times over, it might take you 15 minutes--that'd be great, thanks.

I was first confused as to how someone can put me in a magazine without informing me about it, but then when I read it, I was just flattered. When I told Marcus and my friend DD about it they grabbed my hand and the keys to the car and we started on a wild goose chase to track down a copy of the mag.

We went to one fancy grocery store, one closed medical center, and our search ended with DD getting kicked out of a hospital by a security guard (I guess visiting hours were OVER).
"Please Leave."

We still have no magazine to prove to my children that I was at least semi-cool, in at least my hometown, so if you know where the heck I can get my hands on one of these elusive '202s' let me know!

How neat, Congrats!

Oh my goodness-If I saw a security guard coming towards me I would just run-which probably wouldn't be the best idea, actually. Lol!
