As you may know, I went on a little road trip to Arizona last week.
As I piloted the 16 hour voyage, I was continuously amazed by the grandeur of this earth we live on.
I was close to tears on more than one occasion.
They were tears of happiness and wonder.
To me, Nature has always held divinity--and this trip was a spiritual experience.
The new blossoms on the trees, the rich red rock of the canyons, and the marshmallow clouds all seemed to be singing testaments of the God of Nature that created them.
How grateful we should be to have a Father in heaven, who is the greatest of all artists, allowing us live on His canvas and partake of it’s splendor.
If your faith is lacking, I implore you to take a road trip--I’m not sure how you could doubt, come your journey’s end.

Oh, it is so beautiful. And you are right - whenever I'm close to nature, walking or driving, my faith is the strongest.
I love all the blossoms! When I lived in AZ last year, that was my favorite! The orange blossoms smell so yummy! And it is amazing how beautiful our surroundings are. Thanks for this! Sometimes we get caught up and forget to take a look around us :)

Great message and posts. It is these moments like these that we realize how blessed and lucky we are in to be living in this world. =)

These pics are truly amazing... I sometimes have the same feeling when I am surrounded by such stunning nature.
i love that last photo. a lot. and " Nature has always held divinity" - i could not agree more. i can't tell you how many times i felt God's presence SO strongly when living in the Als. i'm sure your husband can attest to that (didn't he do his mission in austria? or germany? or something?)
Absolutely beautiful. This post pretty much sums up my favorite things. God, the outdoors, road trips, taking pictures of breathtaking views..
Earth's crammed with Heaven, and every common bush afire with God, but only he who sees takes off his shoes.
So beautiful and so true!
Nature never fails to show how awesome Heavenly Father is.
this is beautiful.
Those pictures are absolutely beautiful, and I agree about nature connecting us closer to Heavenly Father.

I always wonder how people can look at and live in nature and NOT believe in a higher being. I love the drive through Utah to AZ. Bryce area is my fav. I love the snow on the red rocks. Thanks for the pics
These pictures are just awesome. Excited to take my road trip in May now!

I'm new to your blog and I just love it! Hope you don't mind that I just quoted you (gave you full credit)on Facebook, "How grateful we should be to have a Father in heaven, who is the greatest of all artists, allowing us live on His canvas and partake of it’s splendor." - those are my sentiments today too!
I'm blessed to live in Arizona's mountains, after growing up in her valleys. I can honestly say that both are beautiful places to live, and bask in God's creations.
