Are You Watching?

Thank heavens for DVR!
After a long day in the car, driving to and from GALLUP, NEW MEXICO and then rushing home to write a paper and take a quiz before midnight, I was way too tired to stay up for the big event.

But this morining when I watched it, I'm not ashamed to say that a tear may have streamed down my face as I watched Kate walk down the isle. Did she not look striking in her Grace Kellyish gown?? Goodness, I was drooling. But seriously, did you almost pass out when the ring wouldn't go on?

Hightlights for Me:
"Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on fire."
"It is possible to transform so long as we do not harbour ambitions to reform our partner..."
I thought the Reverent's whole speech was just beautiful.

And although the last think in the world I would want to do would be to marry into the royal family (so much pressure!) I am very happy for Kate and William and I wish them the very best in their marriage.

What Were You Thoughts?

**Thanks to everyone who played along in the guessing game yesterday. It was fun to hear your guesses. I will be picking a winner this weekend, so if you were one who guessed Gallup, be sure and check back!

I LOVED all the hats. Seriously. We don't get dressed up like that for things around here like they do. I seriously would've loved to go to the wedding just to wear a cool hat. and I loved her dress. STUNNING Bride.

i was going to suggest New Mexic...didn't think it was Gallup. That's where my family is from (not me, but my mom). Such a crazy town, right?

Loved her dress. I haven't seen the entire wedding yet, but what I've seen looks kind of.. cold? I compare everything with the Swedish royal wedding last year and oh my gosh it was so amazing. You could see how much they loved it each other.
Other than that I can only say - I love weddings.

Was getting the kids ready for a field trip this morning, so I only caught glimpses... BUT the parts I saw were beautiful, and her dress was stunning. Very happy she went with something so classic & timeless! ♥

It was great, I was ready for a whole affair (not that is wasn't) but it was so tasteful. The highlights for me where anything that was mouthed (like when she was coming down the aisle and Harry turned to Will and mouthed "wait til you see her, she's beautiful". Ahh! I died.

I watched the whole thing, got up at 3 am to watch it and I don't regret it! The wedding was beautiful, Catherine looked absolutely stunning and her dress was to die for! It will definitely be copied for years to come. The love they both had for each other was palpable even though they kept things very tasteful. She looked like a princess, and reminded me of a Disney princess although I don't know which one.

On regards to the guess giveaway...what if the person guessed two places? So I guessed Flagstaff AND Gallup.

Her dress was so perfect in every way, and she looked beautiful. Basically, that is the exact dress I would wear to my wedding without the train. They both look so happy :). May their marriage be so wonderful and last a lifetime.

I LOVED her dress too! Elegant, simple and STUNNING! It is a good weekend to be British! Hehe. My highlight was as Kate got to William at the alter, he said "You look beautiful, I love you" - I just about melted! My poor husband didn't hear the last of it for a while... His highlight was the flower girl on the balcony! Did you notice her? ;) http://media.npr.org/assets/img/2011/04/29/kiss_custom.jpg?t=1304081323&s=3
