16 hours on the road and I've made it back to Mesa safe and sound.
I really enjoy long trips by myself.
I get to blast whatever music I want (mostly Musicals that I can act out while on the road) and I get to enjoy all the beauty of nature without having to convince someone else to appreciate it as much as I do.
 The clouds were stealing the show for the majority of the trip--until I reached Page, AZ and I saw the trees in blossom! My heart literally leapt, I was so excited!
I LOVE SPRINGTIME!
Other than the 30 minutes I spent off track looking for a gas station and the hour traffic jam I stumbled upon in Phoenix, the trip went swimmingly!

I'm RSVPing for this right now! I can't wait to hang out with Kristine, Lauren, Angela, and everyone else who comes!

Wow those pics... are awesome. I'm following you on Instagram so I get to see most of them :)
I've only done a trip that long once, and I wasn't alone and most specially, I wasn't the driver!!!! I can't imagine how tiring that must be!!!
ps. I'm so jealous of your blogger meeting in AZ!!!!

These pictures are gorgeous! Did you take them with your phone?! (My husband and I dream of moving to Arizona some day. We've never even been but we hate Utah winters and are always checking the weather there!)

Oh wow, it's so beautiful. I can't wait go for long trips by myself. I love to go see beautiful things by myself, i.e. the nature, since other jut don't get it. Haha.
But 16 hours! Hardcore.
Have fun at the meetup!

WOW!!! 16 hour drive is a very long drive and more by yourself! Your photos are so so so great! This 16h-drive would be much more longer if it was me who did it on her own because I would stop every other moment just to enjoy the scenery.
It also happens to me frequently that my friend don't appreciate nature as much as I do... I don't understand that! ;P

I can't wait until I go on my first "by myself" road trip. I would probably do the same as you, sing along to musicals. :) Your pictures are awesome! Arizona is the prettiest place I've ever lived. {Of course, I've only ever lived in Arizona. Ever.}

Looks like a lot of us here are HSP's (highly sensitive people) who mostly know non-nature enthusiasts. I blogged about this once too, about feeling like others don't understand my nature gawking. http://thejuniperberry.blogspot.com/2010/02/have-you-seen-how-beautiful-sky-is.html Maybe I should just start a nature appreciation club.

Anyway, beautiful pics, glad you made it safe. Come see a show at NCT this Friday if you can, we'll be there.
