Lauren and I have been concocting this dinner-date for months and the long awaited reunion finally came tonight!
We met up at her simply adorable abode. (Good golly, her place couldn't be more charming!) The smell of buttery-lemon shrimp and cheesy french bread filled the air (see recipe here), but I'm still not sure whether my mouth was salivating from that rich aroma or the sight of her enviable vintage camera collection...Around the corner, we met the dainty Sierra and her hubby, Ty, looking dapper in his three-piece suit.
After a scrumptious meal, everyone got to know each other a little better in a most unique of ways. Cranium's Whoonu. The game literally had me proclaiming "Who Knew?!" on multiple occasions throughout the night.
Ty LOVES bookstores.
Sierra HATES public swimming pools.
Lauren LOVES bunnies even more than she likes to dress up.
Ted HATES black licorice, and ranks working out high.
Marcus LOVES the Olympics.
I LOVE musicals quite a bit more than shopping.
While snapping some candids
I captured this one of Ty:
Does his face not look like a cardboard cut-out
or a JibJab man???
It basically had us all in tears. Hahaha I'm dying again, just remembering the shock that it instilled as the camera was passed around the room!
Shout out to Ty for allowing us all a hardy laugh!
Turns out it's really fun to have friends who are married, so you can double (or triple date.) Oh I can't wait to move back <3
I couldn't think of a better way to start off the new year than with good food, entertaining friends, finely dresses companions, and stories of scorpions falling from ceilings into peculiar places...

Hello there!
I just found your blog, and I'm in love! I just really like the way you think and write. I see that you're living in the snowglobe of Rexburg--my husband and I just got done spending 4 1/2 years there. You know what's funny? We always talked about how we couldn't wait to get outta Rexburg, and guess what? Now we miss it. We're silly.
