I think I'm going to start a
new feature on the blog.
Every Friday I will have a list of my Top Five...well, whatever the heck I want to tell you about.

I'll tell you mine, if you tell me yours.

Okay...let's be honest, I'm gonna tell you mine, even if you don't tell me yours,
but I'd much prefer if you tell me yours, too.
k, thanks, bye.

I haven't lived here for very long, so I can just vouch for the deliciousness of Cafe Rio and thank heavens that I now live within 10 minutes of one. We had a Johnny Carino's where I used to live, and I loved it! Much more than Olive Garden. But it's not there anymore :(

There wasn't a Cafe Rio when we lived there...oh how I wish there was...lucky you! But I absolutely agree with the other 4...I miss Johnny Carino's and Craigos! Great Harvest was a stop for me every morning on my walk to BYU-I. I would have added Fong's as my 5th favorite...miss that place too.

Omigosh. Anyone who goes to San Diego, CA needs to eat at:

Peking Chinese Restaurant- House special chicken chow mein and BBQ pork fried rice.

The Original Chicken Pie Shop- shockingly, the best thing on the menu is a chicken pie.

Deli Stop- yummy, Mom and Pop bar and grill with the best Philly Cheesesteaks and garlic fries

Sombrero's Mexican- carne asada fries with fresh guacamole, beef tacos, California Burrito. This place is so good, Blink 182 sings about it.

Submarina Sandwiches- like a fresher, better, gourmet Subway and their salads are awesome. Plus, I think they have these restaurants all in CA.

We lived in Idaho Falls while my husband was stationed there in the Navy. In our short time there we found a little hole in the wall place called (I think) Mama Inez's..delicious chili colardo burrito! Also, an Italian place, not Johnny Carino's but local and they had TO DIE for seafood canaloni's (spelling that wrong) that I've never been able to replicate or find something as good as! I miss it, but am happy to be back in the South...we had a blast skiing at Kelly Canyon and walking around the Snake River downtown though!

Here is a top five close to Provo, Utah.
1. Sushi House in A.F. Love it. GO there once a month, or at least try to.
2. Olive Garden. Can't live without Gorganzola Alfredo and salad.
3. Shabu Shabu. Go there when we are feeling expensive--so not often.
4. Los Harmanos. Good for when I crave Mexican.
5. Rubios. Love their fish tacos. Won't eat them anywhere else.

Must eat at Cafe Rio wherever we can find it. I miss Provo for that reason and many others. Though, I'll fight you to the death on what to eat there. On my non-vegan days it's pork salad with the works!

I'm a rexburgian as well. And I would have to say the following hit my top five....

1) Five Guys. I always love a good juicy burger.
2) Craigos. Though every time I come home, that oreo dessert pizza is trying to burst from my belly.
3) Home. Sometimes a meal at home with the hubby beats all.
4) Olive Garden. Good ole' Italian food.
5) Cafe Dejuener. This is a hidden secret of BYU-Idaho. At the end of almost every semester, the Advanced Culinary class puts on a dinner. Limited reservations, 6 course meal, elegant dining, $20 a plate, and worth every penny.
