{For Fashion's Sake} Saturday: Week Denim

12.04.2010

So, I grew up in the 90s.
It was cool to wear all denim back then and this braid put me in the mood. Sue me.

Remember how J.Crew wanted me to pay
150 bones for this watch,

plus another $20 and my left lung for this neon-coral watch band and I said, "hecks-to-the-no give, and give me my lung back!"?
Ya well, I found the watch I'm wearing at Wal-Mart and it shares an uncanny resemblance to the Timex version (army green band and all) and then I bought this watch band from J.Crew, once it went on sale and they were having an additional 30% off, plus free shipping. YES! I am the bargain queen, you may grovel if you wish, but I'd much rather you
tell me about a time you got a sweeeet-mother-of-justin beiber-steal-of-a-deal, so we can celebrate together!

The Breakdown:
Necklace: Forever21 $5
Peach 3/4 sleeve shirt: J.Crew sale $19
Denim Button-Up Shirt: J.Crew Outlet sale $34
Braided Leather Belt: Thrifted $1
Skinny Jeans: Forever21 $19
Boots: Vintage
Watch: Walmart $9
Watch Band: J.Crew $3.50

you probably hear this a lot, but you remind me so much of lo bosworth! anyway, don't you love it when you pass up an overpriced product then fine a much more reasonably priced version somewhere else?

There is absolutely NOTHING better than getting something for way cheap after seeing it for uber-expensive. Makes me say "in your face" to the ridiculously priced, but oh-so-fabulous stores.

Unfortunately, I say "in your face" and do the corresponding dance literally at the store and get kicked out as a result. Oh well, not like I wanted to shop there anyway, mr.im-the-man-expensive-store-stealing-my-hard-earned-pennies
