A Letter to the Lady with the Bangs.

5.27.2011

Okay, okay, can I just tell you about the greatest thing that ever happened to me yesterday at Liberty Market???

Imagine this Scene:
Me going to Liberty Market for the first time.
So many delicious sounding options.
No idea what to order.
Narrow it down to either the chicken pasta or the 'best chicken sandwich'.
Decide upon the pasta.
It was delicious, but I was still so curious about this 'best chicken sandwich' I heard so much about.

Behind me is sitting Robin (Lauren's sister-in-law, whom I recognize from the blog) and a group of her adorable girlfriends (who I do NOT know, mind you).

As we're leaving, I go over to introduce myself.
I ask them about their food choices (as to help me decide what to try next time.)

Cute girl with heavy bangs had the 'best chicken sandwich' on her plate.
I ask her if it lives up to its pompous name.

Without hesitation the sandwich is being handed to me.
I haven't even learned her name, and she doesn't know mine.
She insists that I take a bite.
I, of course, take that bite--there seems to be no choice.

It was indeed THE BEST CHICKEN SANDWICH, but I'm still not sure if it's because of it's succulent ingredients, or if it was because the most generous, hilarious, and fabulously banged lady gave a nameless girl a bite of her sandwich fearlessly.
Essential Elegance Skirt c/o Modcloth
I walked out flattered, blushing, and satisfied.
I'll never be the same after this.

Best Chicken Sandwich Girl, if you read this, please invite me to your next girls night.
I loved you and your friends.

...and your sandwich.

xo, ash

***UPDATE: Thanks to a chirpy little birdy, I FOUND HER!

That's some serious sharing! That's cool how much blogging can influence the people you see on a daily basis though. And your outfit is like... the cutest.

Ha!  I love this.  As I'm reading, I'm trying to decide if I would a) offer and b) accept... and I have no idea!  But that sandwich sounds delicious.  In fact, I might need to go to chick-fil-a for lunch just to fulfill my sudden need for a chicken sandwich!

Wait. Don't tell me you went to Liberty market without going in their bathrooms! That's the whole reason my friend took me there my first time, to see them. I'm obsessed with each stall and I think you might be as well. Look in all of them :)
Or maybe you did see them and just thought it inappropriate to talk about it on your blog. In that case, sorry I brought them up.

If you go back to Liberty Market, you should try their Picnic sandwich. The flavors combine so well.

When you walk into the interview, a solid handshake and smile will go a long way to building rapport with the interviewer and will also leave a positive memory in their minds after the interview has finished. Typically the person who is interviewing you will often be your boss, and therefore they will want to know that not only do you have the skills required to do the job, but that they are going to want to work with you on a daily basis. 3. Be prepared. Before you start the interview, bring everything you need. Tape some of the files on the on the desk where you'll be sitting during the interview or on the wall next to you so you can see them easily. What you need to get is: your CV, the company description, a list of common phone interview questions and answers and a list of interview questions to ask. You should also have a pen, a piece of paper for notes and a glass of water next to you. Government : Government accountants may work at any level of government. They prepare budgets, track costs and analyse government initiatives. Being an employee of the Government used to be the safest job prospect. However one may have to face a downside in the form of bureaucracy and political arguments, as well as current cuts in departments. Present yourself as the person you want to be. Look professional smart, tidy and clean. For corporate positions wear a classic dark suit (including jacket) make sure it is pressed and clean. Avoid sandals, sling back shoes and sneakers. Avoid unnecessary adornments like rings, bracelets and chunky earrings.
