{Top Five} Things I've Learned from My First Day:
1. working out your legs hardcore the day before, is a terrible, terrible, and foolish idea.
2. wearing heels when you will be standing for many hours is a terrible, terrible, and foolish idea.
3. people do very, very strange things in the dressing rooms.
4. i could spend a lot of money on very, very beautiful clothing, very, very easily. i must be careful.
5. i am very, very bad at the 10-Key, any tips on how to improve my skills?
p.s. it's good to have a fun job, and even better to have a wonderful husband. that is all.
have a great weekend!

Awww that note from your husband is so sweet! And working in retail is definitely a unique experience. Good luck on getting your paychecks out of the store. That was my biggest problem. I was soooo broke the whole time I worked retail, haha.
xo,
jessie
what a sweet hubster, and i LOVE your work outfit, girl! and yes, i could spend my entire life's savings on clothes. i'd have no home or money for food, but dang would i look FABULOUS:)
i'd come to jcrew just to see you. ps i love your work outfit the most!
Ugh, working standing the whole day is terrible. It always comes down to this: wear pretty shoes, or comfortable shoes? I hope it's fun at work!
standing on heels is often much acceptable for me than walking on them but whatever, it is still a foolish idea
your feets and legs will learn to withstand the pain in due time! i remember wheni started wearing heels for 8hrs a day... now I can practically run in them!
Well, you looked absolutely gorgeous while wearing said painful heels. Does that soften it a bit? Hehe.
It takes training, no doubt. I've been running around in flat sandals all summer and now it's weird to go back to my fall/winter heels.
ohhh i remember first days of standing on my feet all day. not fun. you look so classy though!

marcus has amazing handwriting for a gentleman. killer outfit.
I used to work in retail and holy heels...they hurt so much when you're on your feet all day. Sounds like such a fun job. Also..don't tell marcus I said this but he has girly writing.
Totally sponsored you. I love your blog. It is beyond cute. And retail+heels=no go. Learned that the hard way too! haha
i really want a job at a clothing store or boutique. i think it would be the bomb diggety! So glad you like it. :)
