Great outfit! It's cute. I think it works both with leg warmers and without, and if it's cold leg warmers are preferred, right?

Birthday ideas: eat a lot of cake.
:)

I like the leg warmers! Also I used to have Mary-Janes just like that but then I wore the heck out of them and they disintegrated. It was the saddest day of my life. You are the cutest person ever. I just love all your outfits!

p.s. Happy{Early}Birthday!

Cute outfit! I can see where Marcus got the idea but no way, it's awesome. Cute with and without leggings. You are gorgeous!

I love this! I love both with and without leg warmers (but in the Fall, they're perfect!) and the rainbow earrings and T-straps totally make this outfit. SO lovely!

I serious love this dress and you are rockin the whole darn outfit! Love the knotty updo! Now normally I'd say go leg warmers all the way, especially in Idaho, but in the pics I must say that the T Straps take more of a center stage role without the warmers, so it depends on what you want to show case. Nary a beetle or any juice of any flavor in site! (but admittedly, I could see what he was thinking after I googled it what with black and white stripes with deep purple) but No. Not even reminiscent of Lydia. So cute!

It is definitely reminiscent of Beetlejuice because of the color scheme, but not at *all* because of the style- you look great. It's kind of like, even though I love red and yellow together, anytime I wear it I think "Sweet, I'm Ronald McFrigginDonald!". Or purple and green- my mind *always* goes to Barney. We're so "programmed" with all the marketing I think it's hard not to make that connection. Oh, or red and green- I always think Christmas tree, haha.

And definitely without the legwarmers is my vote. I like that you can see the shoes better, and the clean lines of your leg/shoes complement the fussy ruffle of the dress really well.

I'd say no leg warmers, but from reading the comments it looks like I'm in the minority.

In that case i'm in the minority too because I prefer without leg warmers. The pretty shoes stand out more without. BTW your hair do is way cute!

Happy birthday! :)

Leg warmers are always a plus. As a child of the 80s I wore leg warmers to dance practice and maybe even school. I rediscovered them about 6 years ago, much to the horror of my friends and family. I'm glad everyone else is finally coming back around to them too!
